The European Union's Shields operation, aimed at protecting international navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, informed that the Greek frigate "Psara" successfully provided support to merchant ships, "by ensuring that their crews and cargo will safely reach their destination".
The Shields operation, added to the update, continues to maintain "its commitment to contribute to freedom of navigation and to strengthening maritime safety in one of the most vital and dangerous maritime corridors" in the world.
